About the Decision Making Under Time Pressure Mini-track
The Association for Information Systems (AIS) is excited to present the Fourth Americas
Conference on Information Systems in Baltimore, Maryland on August 14-16, 1998. We invite
you to submit an article to the "Decision Making Under Time Pressure" Mini-Track.
This track is designed to promote a multi-disciplinary exchange between researchers who
investigate decision making in fast-paced environments. In particular, we wish to foster
discussion of the following issues: process models of decision making at the individual and
group level, the application of compensatory and training aids to decision making, and
methodologies for the investigation of naturalistic decision environments.
Submissions
All submissions should be sent to the Mini-track Co-Chair, C.A.P. Smith.
The articles should be no more than 3 pages in length and must include the following sections:
- The name, address, and affiliation of the contact person
- The title, authors names, addresses, and affiliations,
- An abstract of the submission,
- The body of the submission, and
- A list of references.
Only a summary of accepted articles will be published in the proceedings. At the authors
discretion, a full length version of the article may be posted to the conference web page.
