Database Download Instructions

• If you have Access 2.0, press on the Sample Database for Access 2.0. It is a file called "sample2.exe". If you have Access 7.0, press on the Sample Database for Access 7.0. It is a file called "sample7.exe". If you have Access 97, press on the Sample Database for Access 97. It is a file called "sample97.exe".
• Save the file on the hard drive where you can use the database.
• Find the file using the Windows Explorer and double-click on it. This will open a DOS box and the file will "explode" itself into possibly two files (depending on the version) - "sample.mdb" (for microsoft data base) and "sample.ldb" (for locking data base).
• When the DOS box says "Finished", close it.
• Refresh the Windows Explorer by pressing F5.
• Find the "sample.mdb" file and double-click on it. This will start Access.
